Day 11-A new week

A new week. A week of school, work and new worries. Watching the federal politicians be...politicians is very disappointing but I guess to be expected. The republicans seem like they want to help their corporate friends. The Democrats want to help the workers but tried to throw a bunch of unrelated items in the relief bill.

I think what really amazes me is how fast the bill has grown from 50 Billion to 1 Trillion to now 2 Trillion dollars. That is 2,000 Billions. I didn't realize we as a country had that kinda of money lying around. Another way to think of it is $5,250 for each single person in this country. History has shown us when you start throwing that much money around, a whole lot of people will get nothing and some people will make off like bandits.

On to other grey items: The rain returned and now my back yard is a mudbowl again. I was working on trying to slow the erosion but didn't finish. Now, I will have to wait for a couple of days before I can try to get back to it.

Nothing but bad news getting worse with England announcing a total shutdown. The number of cases and deaths are climbing at dizzying rates, with estimates even in Georgia of doubling every 3 days. For every death, there are at least 19 people needing hospitalization for at least a week. In 7-10 days, the US healthcare system will suffer complete catastrophic collapse.

I think I am going to save my energy for tomorrow.
